E-Safety & Stranger Danger

On Wednesday 29th June, PC Sarah Dufton, visited school to deliver E-Safety and Stranger Danger to Class 1. They were introduced to the story of Jessica and her two friend who attend school. They talked about how sharing pictures and videos with friends who can then share it with people they don’t know.  She also taught them to remember the word ‘TAG’ – Tell An Adult and understand who is a helping hand or trusted adult. As part of the Stranger Danger program the children watched a power point and completed scenario discussion cards. When asked what would you do if a stranger offered them sweets or asked them to get in a car or go and see a puppy with them they all said in one voice ‘Shout, Run, Tell!’
