Remembrance Service

Thursday 11th November at 10:45am saw the children visit St Giles Church to deliver a Remembrance service along with Mrs Lacey an active member of the church and local community. At 11 o’clock the striking of the church clock signaled the commencement of the two minutes silence. The service consisted of songs, prayers, passages from the bible and factual information about why there are Remembrance Services throughout the country.

We also celebrated the 100 year anniversary of Royal British Legion who have tirelessly  worked to supported members of the armed forces and their families.

‘At the going down of the sun, we will remember them.’
