On Tuesday, September 22nd, our Key Stage 2 children took part in a vital first aid training session where they learned life-saving skills. The practical workshop taught the children how to confidently assess an emergency and help someone who is unconscious. They gained hands-on experience practising basic CPR, learning how to safely operate a defibrillator, and finding out how to correctly bandage a patient’s arm. The moral of the training was that anyone, no matter their age, can step up and save a life by staying calm and knowing the right steps to take. It was an empowering day for KS2, and we are incredibly proud of how seriously they took these important lessons.
