It is always with mixed emotions entering into this final service of the academic year. Whilst we take time to reflect on the content of the year and have the opportunity for children to share and celebrate their achievements with family, friends and governors of the school and the local community, we also say farewell to our year six pupils.
As always, the children immersed themselves in the occasion and with confidence and thorough enjoyment presented their work and achievements to a complimentary audience. The singing was exemplary and the content of these reflected the occasion wonderfully by including seasonal, more traditional songs and those which just made you want to ‘clap and move to the rhythm’. What a wonderful way to end the school year!
As always everyone here at Hartington would like to thank parents, governors, the PTA, family, our community and friends of the school for all their support, kindness and commitment you have continued to show us and helping our children to thrive and grow.
We hope you all have a safe and happy summer.
