On Monday 13th of July Carol Naylor, a local Hartington resident, visited us in school to tell us about the hedgehogs of Hartington and the simple ways in which we can all try and help them. The children were informed about the importance of a ‘hedgehog highway’ allowing hedgehogs to move from garden to garden, avoiding the roads.
If anyone is able to make a small hole in their fence or wall to help the hedgehogs then you can email Carol for your free sign to show you are part of the Hartington Hedgehog Highway.
