On Friday 6th of March we were visited by Mr and Mrs Bridden for our puppet assembly. The puppets told the story of David and Goliath, a young shepherd boy, who rejects the King’s heavy armour in favour of his simple sling and five smooth stones, ultimately toppling the giant with a single, well-aimed shot.
The moral of the story is that courage, faith and ingenuity can overcome even the most overwhelming obstacles. It teaches that you don’t need to be the biggest or strongest person to succeed; instead, by staying true to your own unique strengths—rather than trying to fit into someone else’s “armour”—you can defeat “giants.”
Thank you, Mr and Mrs. Bridden for another amazing assembly.
