Christmas has started here at Hartington C of E Primary School with our annual PTA Christmas Market. A huge thank you goes to the members of the PTA who helped to organize, prepare and man stalls for this festive event. Also, thanks to all those who donated prizes for the raffle, tombola, chocolate tombola and wine and water stall, and those who attended to help raise funds for our children.
Along with tombola and raffle there were opportunities to guess the weight of the Christmas cake, name the elf on the shelf and find the Labubu.
Delicious food was made and provided by Katie in the kitchen, with selections including turkey and stuffing sandwiches, roast potatoes, tomato and basil soup and cheese and chutney paninis. These proved very popular! A sweet treat was available from the cake stall, with a huge array of donations coming in for this.
As we await a final total, it is great once again to be able to plan and provide enrichment activities for our children through the hard work and dedication of the PTA in holding such events to raise vital funds.
