On Tuesday 1st July the children had some very exciting visitors in school. We were visited by Animal Encounters – a mobile petting zoo, that allowed the children (and the grown-ups!) to enjoy an interactive and educational animal experience. The animals that we saw and learnt about included: Crystal – the ball python, Peggy, the bearded dragon, Gary – the crested gecko, Ruby – the Chilean Rose Herman Tarantula, Herman – the tortoise, Hattie – the hedgehog and Lucy – the Peruvian X Abisynian Guinea Pig. The children (and Mrs Fetcher, Ms Teeboon and Mrs Donnelly) were all very brave and had a go holding each of the animals. Well done for being brave!
