This afternoon the Key Stage 2 children travelled to Parwich to take part in sports day run by Primary Stars.
When we arrived at Parwich, the children were put into year groups and had the opportunity to practice bean bag races, egg and spoon races, sack races and running and relay races. After the practice races, the real races began. There were some great performances from all children involved and the Hartington children truly rose to the challenge of competing against the other schools. All of the children left sports day with a sticker for taking part, and some children even managed to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd stickers. Well done, Hartington!
