Tuesday 17th of June 2025 – Sports day
This morning the EYFS and Key stage 1 children went to Parwich to take part in sports day, arranged by Primary stars. We set off armed with water bottles, hats and plenty of suncream!
The children were put into year groups and had the opportunity to practice bean bag races, egg and spoon, sack race, running and relay races. Finally at the end of the morning the real races began! There were some very impressive performances from all involved and our children truly rose to the challenge of competing against the other schools. Great excitement was had when someone won a sticker for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, but no-one left empty handed when the organisers made sure everyone had a sticker for taking part. Well done Hartington!
