This morning we were visited by Mr and Mrs Briddon from MAST, for our termly puppet assembly. Today the puppets were telling us the story of Jesus and the children, with links made to previous stories we have learnt about the boy who gave his lunch away and Jairus’ daughter.
Within the story Jesus said, “Let all the children come to me. The kingdom of heaven belongs to people such as these.”
Through todays story the children learnt that Jesus didn’t just want to meet adults, but he always had time for the children too.
At the end of the worship some of the children had the opportunity to be a part of the puppet choir as everyone sang ‘Jesus loves me this I know, because the Bible tells me so.’
