Work pushed ahead in the last weeks of the Summer term to establish our Wildlife Garden and the new bug habitats. The planning for the area began some time ago with the help of Phillip Neal, and we are very lucky that it has received lots support to bring it to fruition. We put Archie Teeboon, while he was with us for work experience, to good use with a spade digging out room for the pond, and as you can see from the photos he attracted quite a crowd of onlookers! The children were of course very hands on and a lot of the work was carried out under the supervision of our lovely Carol whose plant knowledge has been invaluable! We are so grateful for all the support we have received from people getting hands on, to those who have so kindly donated plants for the area. We are all looking forward to watching the area develop and keeping a keen eye out for the wildlife we hopefully attract!
