On Tuesday 6th May we were visited by Hannah Will, who delivered collective worship for us. Hannah retold the story of John the Baptist from the New Testament. We have learnt about John’s life and the important message that John received from God. God spoke to John and told him to tell his people “Stop running away from God and run to him instead. You need to be rescued. I have good news – the Rescuer is coming”. We have also learnt that after sharing the good news, John started to baptize people in the Jordan River and that he baptized Jesus himself.
