On Thursday 2nd of October 2025 we were joined in school by Hannah Will from MAST, who told us the story of Jesus calming the storm.
Using props, some of the children took on the roles of Jesus and his friends whilst the other children were involved in special effects and creating noises of the wind, lightning and thunder!
The story tells us how Jesus controls the wind and the waves when a huge storm hits their fishing boat. With this, his friends began to realise how special Jesus was.
This story teaches us that when we ask Jesus for help, just like the disciples did, He is there to help us, just like He calmed the storm.
