We are delighted to announce that Sophia Webley was nominated, and has been chosen to be one of seven children to receive the Bishop’s Badge Award for her community spirit and commitment to charity work.
The whole school will make the journey to Derby Cathedral on Thursday 23rd June to see her presented with her badge.
Mrs Blackwell said “The schools vision and Christian Values are founded in the story of the Good Samaritan which Sophia epitomises so successfully. She is an inspiration to all the pupils and will be missed when she transitions to key stage 3.”
One of the younger children cried and stated how proud she was of Sophia.
To capture this momentous occasion we all had celebratory cake and presented her with a Congratulations balloon.
