The Great Hartington Bake Off

May Pole Dancing :

Sunday 27th May saw the children of Hartington School entertain family, friends and the public with an exceptional May Pole dancing Display to traditional and contemporary music.

“The Great Hartington Bake off” organised by the PTA produced an overwhelming response  from the local community and the school. Judges Mary Goodwin and Lucy Annat commented on the high quality of entries and found choosing a winner from each of the categories quite challenging.

Other popular events of the day included a walking treasure hunt, cream teas, chocolate tombola and the sale of locally grown plants.

The PTA would like to thank everyone who entered the Bake Off, took part in the treasure hunt, helped and  supported in any way on the day.

To total raised on the day was £839.53 (after expenses £639.69 although we still have to pay for the hire of the village hall). This was an exceptional effort from everyone. Thanks.
