Cake Baking for Macmillan Coffee Morning[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”45″ gal_title=”Cake baking”]

Friday 29th September the school opened its doors at 10:30 am for coffee, tea, cake and biscuits. This was to raise money for the Macmillan Coffee Morning appeal in aid of Cancer. Local parishioner Bell Kerr works closely with the school to help coordinate this event.

Pupils, Parents, Governors and community members baked cakes to sell on the day and donated raffle prizes. The Coffee Morning was followed by the termly Community Lunch. A raffle and bingo both raised extra pennies for the appeal. Despite the wet weather we had a fantastic turn out raising a staggering £350.00 for the appeal.

Thank you to everyone who contributed or helped on the day.
