{"id":1930,"date":"2017-03-27T13:48:22","date_gmt":"2017-03-27T13:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/?p=1930"},"modified":"2017-03-27T15:03:56","modified_gmt":"2017-03-27T15:03:56","slug":"cricket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/?p=1930","title":{"rendered":"Cricket"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=&#8221;33&#8243; gal_title=&#8221;Cricket&#8221;]<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Hartington and Fitzherbert have joined together to bring the<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Derbyshire Cricket Board to their schools.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4>The objectives \u00a0of the six sessions are to:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Engage more children in high quality cricket coaching and games based learning across the country.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>To develop transferable fundamental movements and cricket skills needed to play a range of sports.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Create strong club\/school links that provide further opportunity for participation.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Educate children on Health, Social Cohesion and the Spirit of Cricket.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>The first three sessions Fitzherbert Key Stage 1 children joined Hartington to experience developing agility, co-ordination, balance, speed and also making new friends. This was followed by an after school club where both schools pupils were invited to attend.<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Read some pupils evaluation:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/cricket-evaluation-Will.pdf\"><strong>Will&#8217;s evaluation<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Cricket-Evaluation-2017-Evie.pdf\"><strong>Evie&#8217;s evaluation<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Tom-Cricket-Evaluation.pdf\"><strong>Tom&#8217;s evaluation<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Cricket-Evaluation-2017-Winola.pdf\"><strong>Winola&#8217;s evaluation<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>The next three sessions will see Hartington&#8217;s key stage 2 pupils travel to Fitzherbert. They will join key stage 2 pupils from Fitzherbert to develop their knowledge and understanding . of the game.
