On the afternoon of Monday 13th July, we were joined by George Harste, Peak Ranger and a volunteer to discuss the impact of litter and pollution on the local environment and how long it takes some of our everyday rubbish to finally degrade which was a real eye-opener!<\/p>\n

Did you know that by 2050 there could be more plastic than fish in the sea?!<\/p>\n

The whole school then joined the rangers to get out and about around the village to litter pick.\u00a0 A great afternoon was had by all and a successful time spent “Picking it up for the Peaks!”<\/p>\n
