On Friday 6th February the whole school enjoyed a day of creating with clay under the guidance of Mrs Cheryl Frost our visiting potter!<\/p>\n

KS1 interviewed Mrs Frost about her work with clay and what led her to becoming a potter.\u00a0 This was part of their art this term looking at the medium of pottery and sculpture.<\/p>\n

The theme for the day was for the children to create their own sculptures of small native British wild animals and a wonderful time was had by all making lots of adorable rabbits and mice!<\/p>\n

Mrs Frost has taken the creations away to be glazed and fired and we hope to have them back in school in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
