{"id":14659,"date":"2025-10-02T15:48:53","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T15:48:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/?p=14659"},"modified":"2025-10-03T15:49:19","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T15:49:19","slug":"mast-assembly-jesus-calms-the-storm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk\/?p=14659","title":{"rendered":"MAST Assembly &#8211; Jesus calms the storm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On Thursday 2<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">nd<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> of October 2025 we were joined in school by Hannah Will from MAST, who told us the story of Jesus calming the storm.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Using props, some of the children took on the roles of Jesus and his friends whilst the other children were involved in special effects and creating noises of the wind, lightning and thunder!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The story tells us how Jesus controls the wind and the waves when a huge storm hits their fishing boat.
