This afternoon in school we were joined by members of the community, parents and governors for our annual Macmillan coffee afternoon, this year titled \u2018Cuppa and cake\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would like to welcome you all to our \u2018cuppa and cake\u2019 Macmillan event, which we celebrate every year in memory of Bel Kerr.<\/p>\n

This worthwhile charity is one that we feel privileged to support as part of our commitment as a church school and as “courageous advocates.\u201d<\/p>\n

A wonderful selection of cakes was available for everyone to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee. A special thanks goes to Katie White, Catering Manager at the school, for her hard work and dedication in making a huge amount of these cakes, with thanks also to everyone else who donated cakes to this worthy cause.<\/p>\n

A fabulous total of \u00a3400 was raised which will go towards the continuation of the support and care Macmillan give to those who need it.<\/p>\n
